Augmented Reality with Studio Cat
Augmented reality is becoming more and more integrated into our daily lives. How do we take something that seems to come straight out of sci-fi movies and books and give it a more friendlier, approachable face? This project was a collaboration with my classmate Carolyn Zhou, where we combined our different ideas inspired by the Carnegie Museum of Art , and then adapted them to the context of our design studio. In the end we created StudioCat, an augmented reality smart pet for each student that exists in the studio space and tends to his or her needs.
